Tommy Robinson Now States He Doubts Ellie Williams’ Asian/Muslim Grooming Gang Claims

Is Tommy refusing to play to an anti Muslim audience on the Barrow case?

We’ve previously covered a basic outline of facts on the Justice For Ellie case here. There’s no need to go over it again.

Tommy Robinson did spend some time in Barrow investigating the claims made by Ellie Williams on Facebook. Mr Robinson has now gone on record expressing doubts over Ellie’s claim “she was raped by lots of Muslim gangs”

On the 19th of July, Mr Robinson, in a debate on racism with Sa Ra Garvey (see timeframe 27 mins), stated“…it’s actually gonna surprise a lot of people, this rape story. There’s a massive campaign called Justice For Ellie. A girl who says she’s been raped by lots of Muslim gangs, erm, it’s not actually the way I think the story goes”. For the clipped video, see:

In our previous posting we did mention Tommy has learnt the case is much more complex than the average angry Anti-Muslim commentator on social media who wants folks to believe it’s a covered up Muslim/Asian grooming gang.

I wonder if Tommy believes this situation has parallels with his brief involvement with Justice For Our Boys where he and his followers ultimately helped to perpetuate a conspiracy theory about a Muslim terrorist cover up which he, later, quietly distanced himself from when he was availed of more information.

The hunger of a story to bash Muslims is strong amongst a certain profile of person. Sadly, these people never have the same desire to look into facts or have some level of pause before sharing stories to pursue their own agendas.

But as always, wait for the court verdict to decide whether Ellie Williams has perverted to course of justice.
